Welcome to my blog where I'll periodically provide updates on my adventures in Atlanta real estate photography!
Every room shows the great workmanship, and the owner's own design elements. There is much to love in this home.
But, for me, the surprise was the laundry room.
It's never been a favorite place for me. Who enjoys hanging out in a utilitarian laundry room? This laundry room, while extremely functional, was a light and airy retreat of sorts. The homeowner had a little office space in it, and I completely understand why. Are you in agreement with me on this room?
This wasn't your average home.
While it's conveniently located in the suburbs near everything you could possibly need. The neighborhood is friendly with neighbors out tending their yards, walking dogs, and kids playing freely. The front of the home only hints to what you'll find once you enter.
The inside is light and airy, with dappled sunlight streaming through the trees.
There are a couple of fireplaces, both are unique focal points to the room. The main level boasts a two-sided arched fireplace centered between the family room and dining room. The bedroom boasts a brick fireplace reaching up to the vaulted ceiling.
The backyard is outdoor living at it's best through. The house is nestled in the woods and has a small cabin structure that would be perfect to chill out in a read a book (or send the kids out for the best sleepover ever!).
Did I mention the hot tub, basement rec area, walk-in pantry, huge laundry room, master suite, and updated kitchen?
With the updating the website, I thought I'd start my first blog post on a positive note. Have you seen the current issue of Atlanta Magazine? There's a feature article on a container home I photographed.
